곽진환 총재 "홍콩의 오늘 날 성과는 쉽지 않게 이룩한 것"

곽진환 총재
올해는 중화인민공화국 창건 70주년이 되는 해입니다. 공화국과 동갑인 곽영동(霍英東)그룹 곽진환(霍震寰) 행정총재가 조국이 괄목할만한 발전성과를 이룩하는데서 홍콩마카오 인사들도 독특한 역할을 발휘했다고 말했습니다.

그는 홍콩의 오늘 날의 성과는 쉽지 않게 이룩한 것이며 국가는 홍콩을 위해 많은 기회를 제공했다며 홍콩의 한 세대 또 한 세대가 보다 나은 삶을 영위할 수 있기를 기대한다고 밝혔습니다.

1949년 생인 곽진환은 작고한 전 전국정협 부주석 곽영동의 아들이며 홍콩의 저명한 기업가이자 사회활동가입니다.

개혁개방초기 곽영동을 포함한 홍콩과 마카오 동포들이 가장 먼저 내지에 와 투자 창업했습니다. 곽진환은 1970년대 아버지를 따라 내지에 와 첫 중외합자호텔인 중산온천호텔을 세웠습니다.

국가의 개혁개방 과정에 곽영동은 가족들을 이끌고 내지에서의 투자규모를 날로 확대해 중국의 첫 5성급 호텔인 광주의 백조호텔, 베이징호텔 귀빈루 등을 건설해 뚜렷한 기여를 했습니다.

곽진환도 아버지의 뒤를 이어 조국을 사랑하고 사회에 기여하는 정신이 있습니다. 그는 지금도 홍콩배화교육기금회 상무위원회 주석 직을 담임하고 있고 홍콩중화총상회의 영원한 명예회장이기도 합니다. 그는 중화총상회는 홍콩에서 5성홍기를 가장 먼저 게양한 상회라고 소개하며 중화총상회는 시종 조국과 한마음 한뜻이라고 밝혔습니다.

홍콩의 젊은이들이 직면한 문제에 언급해 곽진환 총재는 오늘날 홍콩이 이룩한 성과는 쉽지 않게 이룩한 것이라며 한 세대 또 한 세대가 보나 나은 삶을 영위할수 있기를 희망했습니다.

그는 국가가 광동-홍콩-마카오-대만구 건설과 '일대일로' 구상, 심천 선행 시범구 건설에 박차를 가하는 좋은 기회를 다잡고 내지와의 협력을 강화한다면 홍콩의 발전 전망은 보다 밝을 것이라고 덧붙였습니다.
